Comment Policy

We encourage readers to post comments and debate the issues confronting our state. We ask people who want to comment on our stories to register once, then log in whenever they post.

You choose your own user name when you register, and although we ask for an e-mail address, it’s never made public. The comments section will be moderated. Criticism and opposing views are welcome. Slurs, gratuitous profanity and ad hominem attacks are not.

Comments are reviewed before posting primarily by Connecticut Mirror Editor Michael Regan and Capitol Bureau Chief Mark Pazniokas, although other staffers may read comments on stories with which they are involved. Your comments on our posting policy are welcome.
